The touring production brings back the astonishing puppetry and rich music that have made it one of the most admired stage works of the century.

Tour Dates

Adapted by Nick Stafford from Michael Morpurgo’s 1982 novel, War Horse was first produced by the National Theatre in 2007. The play became an international phenomenon, thanks to the groundbreaking work of the Handspring Puppet Company, whose lifelike horse creations move with grace and emotion. It has since toured worldwide and inspired a major film adaptation directed by Steven Spielberg.
