Sting will bring his musical The Last Ship to London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane this autumn for a strictly limited two-week West End run.
The production has been newly reimagined with a new book by acclaimed writer Barney Norris and will feature brand-new songs, with Sting taking to the stage as Jackie White.
Inspired by the singer’s own childhood in the shipbuilding town of Wallsend, The Last Ship tells the story of a tight-knit community facing the closure of its shipyard. Following acclaimed international performances in Amsterdam, Brisbane and Paris, the large-scale production now arrives in the West End as part of its global run.
