Show Info

The Barn Theatre in Cirencester and Tiny Giant Entertainment have announced a new production of The King's Speech, which will open at the Barn Theatre this October before launching a nationwide UK tour in January 2027, Directed by Loveday Ingram.

Adapted by Academy Award-winning writer David Seidler from his Oscar-winning film, The King's Speech tells the moving story of King George VI as he struggles to overcome a speech impediment with the help of Australian speech therapist Lionel Logue.

Their unlikely friendship becomes one of the defining relationships in British history as the King prepares to address the nation at a pivotal moment.

Following the success of the award-winning film, this new stage production promises to bring the inspiring story to a new generation of theatre audiences.
