The original play was written by W. Somerset Maugham in 1926, known for its clever structure and its cool look at marriage and independence. Laura Wade, an Olivier Award winning playwright celebrated for Home, I’m Darling, has created a new version that brings the story into sharper focus for contemporary audiences.
