Hawkins, 1959: Jim Hopper's car will not start, Bob Newby's sister does not take his radio show seriously, and Joyce Maldonado is looking ahead to graduation. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family discovers that a fresh start may not be so simple.
Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a stand-alone stage story set before the events of Stranger Things. Presented by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions, the production is directed by Stephen Daldry and co-directed by Justin Martin, with special effects bringing the story to the stage.
The running time is 3 hours, including an interval. Recommended for ages 12 and over; under-5s are not permitted, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
