Show Info
The original story of Stick Man was written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, first published in 2008. The tale follows Stick Man, a wooden stick who lives safely in a family tree, until one day he’s swept away by a dog’s game of fetch, taken by a swan, and even finds himself in danger on a fire. His quest to return home leads him from one misadventure to the next. The book has been highly popular, selling millions of copies worldwide.
The stage adaptation, produced by Freckle Productions, features a trio of actors, inventive puppetry, live music and songs designed to delight young audiences and their families.
