Sister Act

Sister Act The Musical returns for a UK and Ireland tour in 2027, bringing the Olivier Award-nominated West End production to theatres nationwide. Based on the popular 1992 film, the musical follows aspiring singer Deloris Van Cartier, whose life changes when she witnesses a crime. Placed in protective custody, she finds herself hiding in a convent, far from the glamorous life she had imagined.

The 2027 tour features Craig Revel Horwood as Mother Superior, Paul Chuckle as Monsignor O'Hara and Zoe Birkett as Deloris Van Cartier at selected venues. Horwood is best known as a judge on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing and has appeared in stage productions including Annie and The Wizard of Oz. Paul Chuckle became a household name through the long-running television comedy ChuckleVision, while Birkett's West End credits include Moulin Rouge! The Musical and TINA: The Tina Turner Musical.

Sister Act The Musical features original music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, with additional material by Douglas Carter Beane. The production is directed by Bill Buckhurst, with choreography by Alistair David and musical supervision by Stephen Brooker.
