Glorious! tells the true story of Florence Foster Jenkins, a woman whose confidence and charm outshone her lack of musical skill. Written by Peter Quilter, Glorious! premiered in 2005 and went on to international success, including Olivier Award nominations for Best New Comedy and Best Actress. The play captures Jenkins’s world with affection, presenting her not as a figure of ridicule but as a symbol of enthusiasm and self belief.
