Created by Mischief Theatre, the team behind The Play That Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong, this production continues their tradition of affectionate theatrical disaster. Christmas Carol Goes Wrong first appeared on stage in 2016 and has since become a firm festive favourite, even adapted for television by the BBC.
The show balances mayhem with heart, celebrating both the story of Scrooge and the resilience of performers when everything collapses around them. Touring performances bring the full technical spectacle to regional theatres, ensuring that each audience shares in the laughter of a company that never quite gets it right. It remains a joyful tribute to live theatre and holiday spirit alike.
