Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's musical adaptation follows Charlie Bucket as his golden ticket takes him inside Willy Wonka’s famous factory, where some very familiar characters and plenty of surprises await.
Michael Ball will step into the role of Wonka for the London run.
This new production will feature songs from the classic 1971 film, including Pure Imagination and The Candy Man. They’ll appear alongside the musical’s original score from Marc Shaiman, with Nikolai Foster directing the production.
A large creative team is also working behind the scenes to create Wonka's world, with new sets and puppets forming part of the production.
