First staged in London in 1989, Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story became one of the first successful jukebox musicals, paving the way for many that followed. The show traces Buddy’s career from his early days in Lubbock, Texas, through his recording triumphs, to his final legendary performance at the Surf Ballroom. It celebrates his pioneering sound and influence on later artists from The Beatles to Bruce Springsteen.
