Show Info

Beetlejuice The Musical is a stage adaption of the beloved film directed by Tim Burton, translating its gothic comedy into a theatrical spectacle. The book was written by Scott Brown and Anthony King, and music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect. The story follows Lydia, the Maitlands (a married couple who die in an accident), and the titular Beetlejuice, a bio-exorcist ghost called up by uttering his name three times. The show combines spirited rock-influenced songs with absurd theatrical moments and touches of the macabre.

The original production premiered in Washington, D.C., in 2018, and moved to Broadway in 2019 where it earned multiple award nominations. For its West End debut, the show will occupy London’s Prince Edward Theatre from May 2026.
