A Tale Of Two Cities

The production will premiere at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury this September before travelling to Leeds Playhouse. It will then continue its tour in 2027.

Adapted for the stage by Terence Rattigan and John Gielgud, this marks the first major production of their version of the famous novel.

The cast includes Martin Bassindale, Scarlett Brookes, Samuel Collings, Jordan Loughran, Roger Ringrose, Ed Sayer, Robyn Sinclair, Simon Startin, François Testory, Daniel Hickey and Jasmine Kerr.

Directed by Michael Fentiman, the story follows Sydney Carton, Charles Darnay and Lucie Manette as the French Revolution changes their lives forever in a gripping tale of love, sacrifice and redemption.
